Describe the feature request

When previewing a video, the mute/unmute doesn’t work (the preview will still have sound if I click mute)

The tab bar customization works great but it’s would be amazing if there was more options to include tabs for ‘watch later’ and ‘history’ (if possible)

Context menu is too congested for my liking, customization would be great like removing report, share, download video

Small thing, when skipping forward using the scrubber it works but the video pauses, small thing but bothersome

These suggestions aren’t make or break for me just some small things I noticed. Thank you again for your work.

Can you send a video of how to replicate it?

The thing is I'll add a "Default startup tab" feature, making this even harder to support. But I'll look at this when I have more time.

I'll try this on iPhone, maybe this doesn't happen on iPad.

No wonder why that happens, YouTube makes it stop sometimes when seeking. I’m not sure why though.

Thanks for the replies, just want to add another issue. When I pause a video, leave the app and the comeback later, the video will play with sound but the video won't show anything.

It's easily replicable by playing a video, opening a short on feed and then coming back to the video. The video will be black out will play with audio.

Don't know it's a problem on my end (I'm using LiveContainer) or YouTube itself but might want to take a note. This was also an issue with YTLite for me.

Also wanted to add on that the right edge of the app is less responsive that the others.

First noticed it when typing (when tapping 'p' or delete when typing it takes a few taps to respond).

When I'm on 'you' / profile section it sometimes takes a few taps to click settings.

Watching a video, clicking the settings or full screen also takes some time to respond. (Seems to work better on full screen mode)

Thought it was my phone but it works on the normal YouTube app. Don't know if this is a new issue or I just noticed. Might a be a problem of volume boost (because it uses the right edge to use) but I do like the tweak.

Seems to be a result of volume boost which is a bummer since I like the tweak.

I got mute issue on previews as well. I didn’t realize because I disable playback on previews, maybe spoiled by old tweaks in what it was muted by default. In fact, it shows button muted.
Overlay mute button works, first time I muted a video, exit it and back to feed, all muted. Enter a video again and play sound, back to feed still muted. So maybe some overlaping hooking that and not YouMod. iPhone 11 iOS 26.4.2.

Edit: reboot app and still previews muted.
I forgot it: YT 21.17.3.

I think it's YouMute, because I make it keeping muted and I think the YouMute's codes are overriding the OG YouTube mute button. I will create a PR to YouMute to fix this.
