Environment
- OS Version: iPad 26.3.1
- App Version: 5.17.3
Description
If I set the timer to stop at the end of the chapter (e.g. when going to bed). I cannot continue playing the next chapter when the chapter ends. This even if it’s the next day.
Steps to reproduce the behavior
- Set the timer to stop playing at the end of the chapter.
- Play the book and let the timer run to the end of the chapter.
- Try playing the next chapter after current chapter ends. It seems to “back up” a millisecond to the chapter that was played then stop.
Note that I have the option set to remember the timer setting. In this case it’s set to play to the end of the chapter.
It appears that when the chapter ends, the player does not advance to the next chapter but stays at the end of the chapter. Therefore, when playing the next chapter it stops immediately since it thinks it’s at the end of the chapter. E.g. If I am on Chapter 2 and it plays to the end, instead of stopping at the beginning of Chapter 3, it stops at the end of Chapter 2. Therefor, when I restart the player, it tries to play Chapter 2. Since it’s at the end, it simply stops playing.
