Why doesn’t Aegisub have Turkish Dictionary ? Many others already have it!

Because nobody has added one yet. And because OpenOffice, Aegisub's source for dictionaries, does not have one.

Keep in mind that this is an open source project maintained by volunteers.

If you find a Turkish dictionary in Hunspell's format (.dic and .aff) somewhere, you can add it to your Aegisub installation yourself by just dropping the files into the dictionaries folder.

I followed your instructions and found the repositories on Firefox Add-ons, OpenOffice resources, and the Hunspell repository.

You might consider adding them to your own source repository as well, since you already have other dictionaries there.

I've created an open-source installer to easily add the Turkish Dictionary to Aegisub without manual copying. It works on Windows (Installer) and macOS/Linux (Portable Script).

You can find the releases here:
