Clean up this repo #55
Description
There are items in this repository that ought to be in https://github.com/UCL-ARC/hpc-spack/wiki instead - eg the initial checks on what software was being used on Myriad, and the pages on how development was done.
Move them out.
Do some code review of what is left, look over TODOs etc.
