SUEWS Model Errors

I am currently working with the SUEWS model within the UMEP framework and encountered issues that I could not resolve on my own. I would like to ask for your advice.

Specifically, I used the SUEWS Database Prepare module in UMEP to generate two sets of multi-site .yml input files. Both datasets were created strictly following the official tutorial for the New York example, using the same type of urban morphology and meteorological data sources. However, when I run the SUEWS model with these datasets, the simulations terminate with error messages. Interestingly, the two datasets trigger different errors.

To help you reproduce and diagnose the problem, I have attached/uploaded both .yml files.

Could you kindly take a look and let me know what might be causing these errors, and how I can fix them? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions.

Maybe have a look at issue #784 where a user have some issues. Could you also print your error messages here so that we are getting a better understanding of your issues.

Thank you for your reply and for pointing me to issue #784. I have checked it carefully, but my error messages seem to be somewhat different from that case.

To clarify, I have attached my error log outputs along with the corresponding .yml input datasets that I generated using the SUEWS Database Prepare module in UMEP. Could you kindly help me review them and see what might be going wrong?

In addition, I would like to ask a more general question: is it required that SUEWS simulations be conducted only in grids or areas that contain buildings? I attempted to run the model for sites without any buildings, but the model did not seem to run successfully. I wonder whether this is a model limitation or whether it might be related to my setup.

I would greatly appreciate your guidance and suggestions.
