Deployment on Mac

Looks like the methods core deployment doesn’t work on Mac. Not sure if Robert ever had his explicitly set up as a deployment or was just using a standard repo.

It appears that most of it works, but the differences in sed between unix/linux break things I think just for the find/replace we’re doing on the mcRoot in scripts.

I'm deploying on Chris Monk's machines now, so I'll look into adjusting the sed usage in the deployment scripts.

I typically would just do a tar distribution and manually edit the localization.

@rcwelsh are you suggesting that that's what we should do, or explaining why you haven't run into this issue yet on your macs?

sorry for the delay -- this was my way to get around the deployment fail.
