Printer was made for Minecraft 1.13+, I tested it on Minecraft 1.16.5 years ago, and it worked perfectly.
The real problem comes from schematic format (supported by minecraft-schematic). Legacy schematic format is really really old, an upgrade to better formats (NBT/Minecraft structure or Litematica) is needed.

But don't worry, Printer should work as-is on modern Minecraft versions, if you prepare schematic files right. Legacy .schematic files converted by https://cubical.xyz or https://beta.cubical.xyz were tested before.
