Currently, this course assumes that learners can already login. Next course iteration at 2026-02-02, as part of the NAISS Intro Week, we will teach login too. Add it 👍

I just a need a place to store this idea:

Consider teaching a NAISS login course

Maybe, with the 'NAISS intro week' (or whatever it is called) this is being setup by other. Maybe such a course should be setup. Until more is known, this issue is used as a reminder for this idea 👍

I see at the NAISS Intro Week website [1] that we then also have to help people login (i.e. it is not a prerequisite that people can login).

As the course is called 'NAISS File Transfer course' we do not account for login just yet. In an older issue [2], it was suggested to setup a course on its own for login. I think creating a new website on login or adding a section on login is both fine: I volunteer to do so.

For proper teaching, I recommend two hours for login and three hours for file transfer. I am up for proving me wrong 👍️

Well, we are now part of the NAISS Intro Week [1] where we are expected to teach login too. I will update the title of this issue
