Hi UHK Support,
My left-side Key Cluster module has stopped working and is not being recognized at all by the hardware.
Current Situation:
Left keyboard keys work normally.
The Agent displays "Key cluster" recovery process, but this is based on previous configuration; it fails to establish any actual communication with the module.
Log: [DeviceOperation] Cannot ping the bootloader (Infinite loop).
Physically re-seating or cleaning the pins has no effect on the logs.
Steps Taken:
Bridge Cable: Tested with a brand new RJ11 (4P4C) cable. No change.
Electrical: Performed a continuity test on all 4 pogo pins and checked for shorts.
Reset: Tried physical reset button and Agent's Unbrick procedure.
Conclusion: No physical communication is being detected between the left half and the module.
Request: Since I cannot swap modules to the other side due to physical shape differences, I cannot determine if the fault is in the Left Keyboard Half (I2C bus) or the Key Cluster module itself.
If I purchase a new Key Cluster, is there a high probability it will fix the issue, or does this log suggest a failure in the left keyboard half's internal circuitry?
