I have tried Method 2 on Mac, with ca.cert approved.

This issue is likely caused by a recent Netease client update, which introduced a new API host and a nativeFetch mechanism.

A fix for this (PR #1685) has already been merged into the branch.

If you're running from source, please pull the latest changes. If you're using a precompiled binary, please wait for the next release, which should include this fix.

So, I finally got it working... I am on Tahoe 26.3 beta 3 (25D5112c)
I had to trust the certificate (server.crt) as root. At first I thought it was to do with the proxy being miswritten, so changed that: "http://localhost:8080/proxy.pac".

Here is what finally worked for me:
from the terminal:

sudo security add-trusted-cert \
  -d \
  -r trustRoot \
  -k /Library/Keychains/System.keychain \
  /Users/mikhailivanov/server/server.crt

• have the files stored under /Users/name/server/*
