Background and Motivation

A robust backend API needs to be implemented to support the new intuitive admin panel interface. This API will handle all administrative actions, enforce secure access, and communicate with the front end to manage content effectively.

Task Description

Develop a comprehensive set of backend APIs for the admin panel. These APIs will be responsible for managing authentication, authorization, and content-related operations within the admin panel.

Goals

• Create secure API endpoints for administrative tasks.
• Ensure the API supports all necessary admin panel functionalities, aligned with the frontend requirements.
• Implement proper security checks to safeguard against unauthorized access and data breaches.

Challenges

• Developing a secure authentication flow that integrates seamlessly with the frontend admin panel.
• Ensuring consistency and reliability of the API during concurrent administrative operations.
• Aligning the backend API design with the current architecture.

Dependencies

• The admin panel UI developed and issue tracked in Frontend Issue #59.

Expected Outcome
