Delivery chute and deployer no worky on clockwork fabric?

Items won't move. They are both set with smooth sandstone, though other frequencies also don't seem to work. Photo is of an instance with these mods installed: Please hit with stick if this is user error on my part. :>

I looked into it earlier and It was caused by fabric transfer util, which keeps returning an empty item for some reason
