Symptoms

On Proton 9.0, the game freezes and crashes when launching a new game or loading an existing save. It doesn't happen on my desktop PC running CachyOS. I was able to make it work using Proton 8.0-5 on the Steam Deck. I don't need to do that on my desktop PC. It's an issue specific to the Steam Deck it seems.

• Play
• New Game
• Create/Select your character
• Survival
• True Survivor
• Name your game and confirm
• Crashes when loading
  • Sometime Steam crashes with the game
