Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
I am attempting to run Nobe Omniscope using Steam Proton and pass through my EVGA XR1 Lite to get scopes view. It launches and works in my testing completely fine except for not recognizing any device I have plugged in. As an alternative I have tried this on a windows VM in gnome boxes but Nobe Omniscope won’t even launch citing a GPU error. I also prefer to use Proton/Wine because of the low overhead. In Fedora the capture card is recognized as a webcam and works with no issue during video calls, in cheese, and gnome capture. I also have an actual webcam that works without issue. Neither the webcam nor the capture card are recognized within any application I run on Lutris.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
- Download Nobe Omniscope installer from their official website
- Install it via Lutris
- Add NobeOmniScope.exe from the Lutris install folder to Steam
- Run with proton
Alternatively I ran the installer directly in proton and that launched as well with the same issue.
