WARNING: Too many active WebGL contexts. Oldest context will be lost. #16
Description
I have a problem that is reported many times with plotly, but I couldn't find a solution, therefore I decided to try here. I draw up to 4 charts (with type scattergl). Sometimes I switch between different number of the charts. This causes re-rendering and at this time I get the message "WARNING: Too many active WebGL contexts. Oldest context will be lost.". Then one or two of my charts are not shown. I know that there is a limitation (because of performance issues) of the charts that could be drawn at the same time (8 or 16, I'm not sure). But my charts are never more than 4. According to some other posts, this might be caused from delayed removal of the already created charts from the garbage collector. I really need to solve this problem. Is there any known solution?
