Feature Request: File size estimates or guidelines

It takes a bit of experimentation to find the right padding and zoom level for a "world map" that balances the level of detail with the file size. Because not every server map is the same size, and not everyone has the same definition for a "world map" I can understand that setting up guidelines could be difficult.

Also, +1 for the request from an earlier issue to add an option to put in two constraining points instead of using padding.

File size estimates? I'm supporting this. Two constraining points? You may use padding of 1 and define two points which are corners. Example: m [0,0,0] [2048,0,2048] -p [1] -z 0 -f PNG will generate an approximately wanted output.
