Hidden symbol is referenced by DSO

Hello!

I am trying to build the examples on ubuntu and I get the following error:

/usr/bin/ld: a.out: hidden symbol `__sfp_handle_exceptions' in /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/9/libgcc.a(sfp-exceptions.o) is referenced by DSO
/usr/bin/ld: final link failed: bad value

Please advise on what should i do.
