Thought I would leave a comment on this bug. I am using EndeavourOS \ Arch with Gnome 44.5. I get the same error as you ... which I believe is caused by Vocal trying to connect and sync podcasts.

The last update I got for Vocal (version 2.4.2-5) was built April 2022 even though I installed July 2023.

So we will have to wait for Vocal to put out and updated build.
