Move settings in the video player to the extension's popup?

The settings menu is currently located in YouTube's video player but could be moved to the extension's popup.
There are multiple pros and cons to making this change.

Pros:

• Some new users already expect all the settings to be in the popup.
• Moving the settings to the popup allows users to easily restore to previous settings when the ambient light crashes. The only way to restore it currently is to import a json file with old settings or to reinstall the extension.
• In the future this allows the extension to apply the ambient light effect on other video players. Like on the shorts, mobile site and may even the channels page.
• Settings in the popup would immediately apply to all browser tabs. This saves users the additional step to refresh already open browser tabs.

Cons:

• Settings in the popup would immediately apply to all browser tabs. This would prevents multiple open tabs to have different ambient light effects.
• The settings menu cannot be opened when the video is fullscreen.
  (Maybe we can workaround this by using shadow dom to display an optional settings button over the video, like Firefox's picture-in-picture toggle, and opening the settings menu in shadow dom as well?)
• The settings menu would become slightly harder to reach. Because the information in the current popup and the ambient light settings would need to be merged into a new popup. There are several options. It could be moved behind a menu with 2 options (ambient light settings / other settings) or the information in the current popup could be moved to a separate webpage.
