Constant reconnect with 'You are already connected to this server!'

When I run worldql_server with Velocity + Minecraft 1.18, there are constant reconnects when I try to connect with a client.
The Error Message that appears in the Chat just says You are already connected to this server!.
I can't seem to find any indication in the logs as to what may cause this.

When on the server, I am unable to move around (I hear a bubbling noise when moving)
and the camera will reset to a fixed position when I try to move it too far.

I can provide a video upon request. Any help is appreciated.
