On the desktop client, if connecting to a server which has updated its ssl certificate, the client will be sent an error and disconnected. The user should be alerted of the new cert and asked to accept it.
Relatedly, when clearing out the cert and setting it to null in identities,.json, client just accepts the cert but does not prompt or save it in the file, it remains as null.
