I would love this to be playable by more than just the handful of us developer types. However, as it stands right now, users must build the client from source. Hopefully it goes without saying why this is impractical. If maintainers feel this project is in a ready state, even the most modest (v0.1) tagged release pointing to a windows binary set would go a long way to making this project discoverable by others outside of our incredibly small community.

indeed, it's more practical to have it as released binaries, but at least for the client there is an actual client which was posted on discord in the anouncements and to my knowledge it's official. i've tested it and it does include server manager which basically means you can just connect to another server.

but yes, i do agree that it's more practical to make release versions, one for the client and one for the server.

I'm hosting the client linked by @vlad-a-c and I can confirm that it is built from the official source.

I don't plan to host the server binaries however. In my view, if you're hosting a server, you most likely know how to run it. An argument can be made that it would be useful for local play, but IMO local play on this type of platform doesn't particularly interest me, other than of course for testing purposes.
