Problem with the Base

This badge generator works fine on php7.0 :)
The only problem is the base wont load.
The templates seems to load fine.

Sometimes you see a base but the wrong one (And the wrong base color):

If i choose Base 1 the output is Base 10

EDIT:

I changed:
$partKey = substr($partCode, 0, (strlen($partCode) == 6 || (!$isSymbol && strlen($partCode) == 5)) ? 3 : 2);

To:
$partKey = substr($partCode, 0, (strlen($partCode) == 6 || (!$isSymbol && strlen($partCode) == 5)) ? 2 : 2);

Now the base is working.
Only some icons are not working now. weird
