It's safe, current release is same as latest snapshot for now. |

Hi everyone,
on my current firewall (HSIPC Alder Lake N100 Quad Core Firewall Micro Appliance, 16G RAM, 256G SSD, 4× i226-V NICs) I wasn’t able to install version 0.6.12 directly because booting from USB always ended up in a kernel panic (most likely due to a NIC driver issue).
As a workaround I installed a snapshot build:
OpenMPTCProuter v0.63-snapshot-6.12 (r0+30292-77b9393d2f)With this kernel everything works fine — no more boot problems and the aggregation is running great.
Now the system reports that an update is available to 0.63-6.12 (stable).
My question:
👉 Is it safe to perform this upgrade when I’m already running the snapshot build?
I suppose stability should not be an issue, but I’d like to confirm before proceeding.
Thanks in advance!
