Welcome to the official discussions for SecScan.

We recently launched v2.0 with a focus on reducing false positives using Smart Entropy Analysis and Deduplication. The goal is to make secret scanning fast, intelligent, and noise-free.

I created this space for us to collaborate on the future of the project. While you can still use Issues for bugs, this is the place to:

• 💡 Propose new features: Want support for a specific cloud provider or token type?
• 🔧 Share configurations: Show off your .secscan.toml or CI/CD workflows.
• 🤔 Ask questions: Need help integrating SecScan into GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions?

🗺️ The Roadmap: What's next?

I am currently looking into the following areas and would love your feedback:

1. More Pre-built Patterns: Are there specific API keys (e.g., Azure, specific SaaS tools) we are missing?
2. IDE Integrations: Would a VS Code extension be useful to you?
3. Reporting: Do you need other export formats aside from JSON (e.g., SARIF, HTML)?
