Question: What is the progress of Polymer 2.x support?

I see that there has been a lot of work done to start supporting Polymer 2.x (Hybrid) however it seems that this came at the cost of reduced features and an incomplete implementation of the Material design spec.

Is there any plan to re-add these features (example: continue, skip, complete [buttons and methods])?
