Forecast integration and battery level setting for calibration

Following the work from @surfer1264 it would be great to automatically have the forecast solar addon as basis for the calculation of the minimum set values for each hub to ensure the calibration after several days. Is there something planned for future releases in this area?

I guess not. Because it is for every person different and how much energy PV they get and use at home.

Also HA give all easy way to Do it already. This is how HA works and Live.

The concept of Home Assistant integrations is particularly their independence from each other.

To use PV Forecast, you need another integration such as Forecast.solar or Solcast, along with additional configuration parameters ( like API Keys, and others)

(because of that..) without preempting the response from the developer team, I believe this feature will not be available in the ZHA integration (soon)

But I am interested to hear what the answer of the DevTeam is.

Implementing such requested function later on for a HA user via automation or NodeRed is relatively simple.

thank you for the reply. Indeed the automation will be relatively simple. I already have Forecast Solar running and configured in a good forecasting config. In this regard I´d like to ask if you know the values for the entity ID zendure_manager_operation with the states of "smartes Laden" and "smarte Lesitungsregelung"? Are they really defined with the german wording or other values?
I´d like to know this as with this switch all 4 hubs can be set together to a loading state instead individual min set volumes for each hub.

Thank´s also for offering your support Jörg, I´ll have a look onto the automation by myself next and will then see how far I get.

u want to understand how these modes are working?
When I got the right knowledge:
"off"

• AC In & AC Out Values are working for each individually
• ignoring fuse group(ing)

"manual"

• manual value in Zendure Manager is discharge and calc over the defined fuse group

"smart"

• try to keep assigned power-sensor at 0W (with excat discharge or charge power from the devices in the fusgroup)
• excess loading is activate (in actual 1.4.x versions it does not work well)

"smart discharging"

• same like "smart" but disable excess loading

"smart charging"

• same like "smart" but disable zero-feed / 0W system and only enable excess loading

@Kieft-C: I was searching for the states of the zendure manager like shown by surfer but the explanation helped me to better understand the states.

I have an additional question but it might be off-topic:
I run 3 hub 2000 (with 3AB2000 each) and one hub1200 (with one AB2000) with an ACE1500 on it. When the Hub1200 should be charging the small AB2000 it cannot change the state to charge because the smart mode is switched on. When I switch all modes in Zendure manager off it will lead to free discharging all Hub2000 into the grid. Is there a better way that the switch between discharging and charging on a Hub with a connected ACE can be changed which I might not know?

May the solution is to change the fusegroup and put devices in / out to keep a part in the smart mode and the others then could load/discharge manually.
