Arabic text in Droid Sans does not appear in IE11 on Win7

I have isolated a test case: http://barrymcgee.dreamhosters.com/droidsans

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Visit the above link in IE11 on Windows 7
2. English and Arabic text should appear for both Lato and Droid Sans
3. Arabic text in Droid Sans does not appear.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Nothing - the placeholder is  blank.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm loading the font directly from the Google CDN - please view source of above 
link.

Please provide any additional information below.
This issue seems to be only affecting IE11 on Win7; IE11 on Win8.1 is fine. 
It is also specific to Droid Sans web font as Lato loads fine.
