Description
The 'blue':
- Visually acts similar to water
- "Inside" of the 'blue' your screen fills with a semi-transparent color
- Players take damage similar to lava effects (though reduced and perhaps has its own pain sound)?
- The further along the game is, the harsher the blue
- "Inside" of the sphere (
EFX_HOLOGRAM) looking 'into' the 'blue' has the same effect as looking at water, semi-transparent
- The extent of the 'blue' shrinks on intervals just like other BR games.
The map:
- Would require a new map built specifically for this purpose, a significantly larger, open map
- Create a new map entity, or reuse an existing one, to be the focal point?
- At map load, one of these entities is randomly selected to be the focal point of the 'blue'. The 'blue' shrinks until it is 0 and any remaining players will feel the effects of the 'blue' unless they eliminate their competition
