Problem with Image captured by script

Sorry for the bad title, I'm not sure how to explain what I am seeing 100%.

I've been able to get the script running, and it launches the 4 windows (original, background removed, output, etc.). Upon launching the windows, the "original" has a still frame of the camera's view at that moment. the other 3 are black screens, and I keep getting application non-responsive errors. Eventually the entire machine locks up.

I'm running this on an Ubuntu VM currently, and installing a Windows VM to test next. I had issues running on Mac OS (apple silicon), and decided to move away from that. If I can get it working, I plan to move to dedicated hardware later.

Any Thoughts?

Update: I have exact same behavior on Windows.. application windows all pop up, but I get a still frame on "original" while the others stay blank, and everything freezes.

I actually found a post from 2019 of someone with a similar problem.. and it was the OpenCV version. I think I might be good to go now.

@thewifininja how do you end up getting this to work? I'm trying to run it on Windows 11 with a wifi camera. It pulls up the initial frame and freezes.
