Support shift-click equivalent of a drag selection

In the original project, if you select the 1st button in row1 and then shift-click the last button in row2, all buttons in between are selected. That means you don't need to do the less ergonomic dragging with a mouse button held

original shift-click selection is buggy... (works only for row staggered, fails for column staggered, for example try it on ergo-dox preset).
Not planning this anytime soon.

You could have Alt+Click for column staggered, why is row-staggering an issue? It can't decide for the user whether rows were supposed to be included or not. So just like column selection in an editor, you need to use a different modifier to get a different behavior, it's not a bug

Ah, I see, yeah, it doesn't "go up", would be nice if it selected the way you mean by treating keys in the same "semantic" row the same!

this is doable, most logic is in place since I have this drawing support (Add Switch Matrix Coordinates Tool)

so this new selection could reuse similar approach. I will put this proposition as enhancement

Not sure I understand how drawing is related since in this case you only have two points without intermediate selection and could even have a key that a normal horizontal mouse selection wouldn't touch (select from the middle of a key, but one key in the same row is staggered 80% higher)

The logic should be for two keys selected with Shift

• select all keys with higher index on the first row (row of the first key)
• Select all keys with lower index on the last row (row of the second key)
• Select all rows between the first and the last
