Agenda

• Migration script has been updated, now exports courses from legacy DB using a legacy app instance directly. Need to investigate the feasibility of using this with Node.js v16.
• Installer utility has been updated:
  • Now works with Node.js v16
  • Can now install branches (with --branches flag)
  • Added --check flag to update function to allow dry-run (and will be used during app startup)
• Testing server has been updated to alpha.10, but course builds are currently not working.
• Discussed adding a pre-migrate report to the migration script to summarise the process before undertaking.
• It was agreed that supporting Node.js v16 on the legacy code is very low priority and should only be considered if vital for migration purposes.
