Compilation error sqlite3.h not found

While I am waiting for my board to arrive, I wanted to compile the software to test it a bit.
After installing all kinds of missing dependencies, I am left with this message:

sqlite3.h and sqlite3.c are both in /usr/bin and I copied them into every directory I could think of, but the error is still there. I have been using the main and the farhandev branch with the same result.
I am trying to compile on a Raspi 4B, 8GB with the 64 bit OS.
I agree with N4CND in post #103 that a list of dependencies would be very helpful.
Any help would be appreciated.
