Launched but asking to update.

Its launching on windows but then this message is coming how to fix it?

This is not actually a Microsoft Store update problem.

The app is launching, then hitting an internal sunset gate in the bundled webview JS (appSunset), so it shows:

• “Update required”
• “This version of the app is no longer supported”

Root cause

In extracted work/app/webview/assets/index-*.js, the gate check uses id 2929582856:

i="2929582856",e[0]=i):i=e[0];const s=Cs(i);if(r){...}else if(s){...show appSunset...}

Fix

Patch that gate to false:

- const s=Cs(i);
+ const s=!1;

Proper way (persistent)

Apply this automatically in scripts/run.ps1 after extraction (same place as preload patch), so it survives fresh runs:

1. Locate work/app/webview/assets/index-*.js
2. Replace:
   • i="2929582856",e[0]=i):i=e[0];const s=Cs(i);if(r){
   • with i="2929582856",e[0]=i):i=e[0];const s=!1;if(r){

Then run once without -Reuse so the freshly extracted assets are patched.

This removes only the forced sunset screen path and allows the app to continue loading.
