Description

KI import from TikTok videos crashes with IllegalArgumentException: Expected URL scheme http or https but was data. Works fine with normal web links, fails on TikTok (short/full links). Server: selfhosted Tandoor in Proxmox LXC with OpenRouter. App: Android 2.0.9.

Environment

• App Version: 2.0.9 (build 20090)
• Server Version: 2.6.0 (Tandoor)
• Device: Xiaomi (Redmi, Android 16 / API 36)
• Backend: Selfhosted Tandoor in LXC (Proxmox), OpenRouter as AI provider

Steps to Reproduce

1. Paste TikTok link into Kitshn (KI import)
2. App crashes after "Processing" with ACRA dialog

Expected Behavior

Should extract recipe from TikTok video via AI without crashing.

Additional Info

• Tandoor/OpenRouter works perfectly with web links
• Seems related to 🐞 TikTok import times out #301 (TikTok timeout) and 🐞 Fix TikTok social media import failing #276 (social import fixes) – specifically data:URL from TikTok embed/thumbnail [web:2][web:3]
