if I want to call more values from database like publication date or auther how to know the values I have tried but fail because of the names

This should be quite simple, you can pass the wanted values to the template here https://github.com/ajnyga/mostRead/blob/master/MostReadBlockPlugin.php#L146-L148

and then just apply them to the template here https://github.com/ajnyga/mostRead/blob/master/templates/block.tpl#L15-L18

For example passing the publication date would be something like:
'datePublished' => $submission?->getCurrentPublication()->getData('datePublished'),

and then just calling it in the template file with {$submission.datePublished}
