fix: improve contrast of inactive tabs and small text in dark mode #192
Description
Problem
In dark system mode, certain UI elements have poor contrast and are hard to read:
- Inactive tabs are difficult to see
- Small text in general lacks sufficient contrast
Expected behavior
All text and interactive elements should meet accessibility contrast guidelines in dark mode.

Reported by @trutx with screenshots showing the visibility issues.
