Hi @almarklein ,

I was wondering what is the current status of this package? Do you have any plans to maintain and/or further develop the wrapper?
I'm potentially interested in finalizing it and solving the remaining issues.

Oh wow. Apparently I was not watching this repo and had not seen any of the issues yet. Thanks for mentioning me directly here ...

Anyway, I created this because it was part of a larger project and though that it would be useful to others. I don't actively use it myself. If I would have seen the questions and bug reports coming by (LOL) I would have done some maintenance, but I have no plans to actively develop it further.

It would be great if someone could take this project further!

I agree that it is, probably, not worth to invest lots of resources to bring pyelastix to the next level, at this moment. However, I believe that it adds quite much to the usability of elastix for the people working in Python environment. For my projects I had to develop a similar wrapper, which is, due to several reasons, less flexible and less convenient. So, at least, until SuperElastix/elastix#146 is merged, I think the repo will make a noticeable impact.

I'm going to work on the issues and the remaining TODOs. Let us then see if any new ideas emerge.

Hi @almarklein ,
I'd like to start with establishing a CI with Azure Pipelines (in order to test on both Windows and Linux). For that we'll need to add Azure Pipelines app integration to this GitHub repo. Could you do that, please?
I've sent you an invitation to join the Azure Pipelines organization. It might be easier to set the integration from there. On the left: "Pipelines" -> "Builds" -> "New pipeline" -> "GitHub".
