All it says is the that the platform is windows, that the server started, and "If your device doesn't show up after connecting the device, please make sure dev mode is enabled on headset and cable or usb port is not damaged." I know the port and cable works because I've been using it with quest link just fine, and I double checked that I had dev mode on in the headset.

@Komrade6788 Having the same issue. Have you found a solution since then? Tried reinstalling, giving admin priorities, but to no avail.

Having the same problem in Bazzite linux. HMD keeps connecting over WiFi and won't use the cable.

For me, this turned out to be the lack of detailed instructions on enabling developer mode for the Quest 2. Most guides show just enabling it in the headset, this is no longer enough. You must install the mobile app on your phone, connect to the headset, and enable developer mode via the app.

I'm having this same problem. I was having difficulties enabling USB debugging on my Quest 2, but I managed to force it on through Sidequest. However, I'm also just getting the "If your device doesn't show up after connecting the device" message even while using ports and cables that have worked fine with Meta Link in the past, and my Quest 2 registers being connected and shows up in Windows file manager as usual.

I am on the latest version (1.4), running ADBF with elevated permissions. If there's additional troubleshooting steps I can take, please let me know.
