There's no option to either stop the download or restart it if it's not downloading for some reason
Expected behavior
Download an anime episode
Go to anime downloads
If the button says "stop" then it's downloading or trying to, if I want to stop downloading for now (for whatever reason, idk, I have to go out, so I have to disconnect from WiFi and I don't want it to download over other WiFis), I just stop, and restart the download later when I'm back (already knowing it will restart the download from 0)
Actual behavior
Download an anime episode
Go to anime downloads
If there's no ##%, then I don't know if it's downloading or not, there's no way of knowing if it's actually trying or if it failed, and if I'm going out and connect to other WiFis for a short time, it will try to download, and then, because there's no support for resuming, it will keep failing to download bugging out later and showing like is "trying to download but it's actually not"

Since the previous preview update, there's no "pause/resume" button on the anime download. This is so inconvenient and unintuitive, not only we don't know if the downloader is actually downloading but we can't decide if we want to stop the download to restart it later, and I'm not talking about "pausing & resuming", I understand the no support to "pause" and "resume" downloads, but at least let us decide when to start downloading or when to retry if the downloader retries failed for an external reason.
Connection issues to a server could appear for many reasons, from the server itself having an issue to a WiFi connection problem on the client side, I just had this problem, I left my phone downloading a lot of episodes over night, I went to sleep checking the app was actually downloading (there were percentages showing), and when I woke up it just showed downloading, like trying to download but not starting, then I noticed that the anime download button label said "resume" when changing to the manga downloads (while downloading some manga chapters)... So that means the anime download stopped downloading after 6 episodes and failed retrying, and there wasn't a way for me to manually retry, this is not an extension issue, because the same could have happened with any other issue, in the end some websites use the same video servers...
The "stop download" action in the "middle of downloading" should be separated from the "user cancellation download" action from the queue, that way the user can stop the overall downloads without removing them from the queue and only remove the downloads from queue if the download finished or the user explicitly removed it...
This is just too unintuitive, there's no way of knowing if it actually fails or if it's actually not downloading. At least with the button before we knew if the queue was actually downloading or not (even when it displayed the "downloading" animation over the item)

I have searched the existing issues and this is a new ticket, NOT a duplicate or related to another open or closed issue.
I have written a short but informative title.
If this is an issue with an extension, I should be opening an issue in the extension's repository.
