socket: Address family not supported by protocol (raw socket required by specified options).I

I am getting this error whenever I try to resolve any addresses. It seems to be related to ipv6 in either busybox or the kernal.
ping -4 works ok but ping6 is the same. and also wget and others.

Any suggestions please?
