New user issue - yank - then what

I really like the concept and ease of use; it is brilliant. I am a bit puzzled by yank - if that copies something then how can I paste that something into somewhere? (typically a file into another directory). Many thanks for clarification.

Yank is just a word for copy/paste. Yank copies to your OS clipboard.

Thanks, I see, so it supposedly should copy the file path on to the system clipboard. It does not, however, seem to do that - I am on Gnome and nothing appears on the clipboard. How is the clipboard to be accessed?

Also bubbletea v2 support xterm clipboard functionality. I will switch to it eventually.
