Usage of API KEY/AUTH TOKEN instead of Login

I could not get this to work when Claude Code is not logged in but rather using a custom BASE URL and API KEY or AUTH TOKEN

Gives a Credit balance is too low for me. I use an API key with MacOS app. Normal Claude Code CLI works fine
