Why is PyTorch required?

WHY (why?) does this jax library install torch? moreover, why does it default to cuda installation of it on linux?

pipdeptree -p sbx-rl,torch -r:

torch==2.9.1+cpu
└── stable_baselines3==2.8.0a3 [requires: torch>=2.3,<3.0]
    └── sbx-rl==0.24.0 [requires: stable_baselines3>=2.8.0a0,<3.0]

this package depends heavily on SB3, which is based on PyTorch.
You can always install the cpu version of it beforehand (or mock the package if you don't want any of it).

this is the torch default when you do pip install torch

Sure, but why do you reckon it counts as expected behaviour? I think, it must not.
