How to help with making fan work

I would like to help with making fan available in home assistant. Is there a way I can help?

From what I see only binaries are available to control the device and on tinxy forum no documentation on how to control fan locally.

@arevindh I checked v2.2 pre release and it is working as expected. I was able to change fan speed. Also the fan turns on when setting speed as expected and as is the logic in the app.

However, 1 out of 10 times when I tried to change speed, the device became unavailable. For example setting speed from High to Low, I see a log message "Fan became unavailable triggered by action Fan: Set speed". The speed was set after it became available. I am not sure if this is hardware device issue or integration code issue but reporting here just to document it.

and btw just to confirm, is the code for compiling binaries not available on purpose?

It's restricted by Tinxy company itself. I am only allowed to share compiled binary.

How was it toggled? Fast, slow or any pattern.

There is a queue system in place because of the 1 req / sec limit for each node.

also just an related observation (#9) i was able to turn on multiple lights with one button with 300ms interval. 250ms did not work

Although Log Book does not record the speed change events only when fan is off it records speed change event as "Fan turned on triggered by action Fan: Set speed". I do not know if this is intentional or not, just reporting my observations.

On an unrelated note is it possible to set percentage directly instead of presets of low medium and high? The physical knob they provide have 5 speeds: 0, 25, 50, 75, 100. While the app has only 4: 0, 33, 66, 100.
So I suspect we should be able to directly set percentage if local API supports it. maybe worth giving it a try?

They are using relays and only available values are. 0 33 66 and 100. Other values won't toggle the relay.
