Ignore audio flavor if dataset does not contain audio files

When downloading a dataset without audio files it can be stored in different cache folders based on the requested audio flavor, even though the dataset does not contain any audio files. In those cases it would be better to ignore the requested flavor.

What if in the next version I add an audio sample? When I request both two versions they will be stored in different cache flavors.

Yes, but as they are different versions they would anyway be stored in different folders.

But I see your point. If you always request datasets with sampling_rate=16000, you might expect that they all are stored in the same flavor folder.

Yes, e.g. when I remove a specific flavor I expect all versions will be remove that I requested with that flavor.
