but how do we install it,

should I recompile sia with siasync within or is there another simplier process

This is a command-line utility that uses the Sia API, so you'll want to set up a Sia node with an allowance, then on the same machine run ./siasync [path-to-folder] where [path-to-folder] is the directory you want to sync.

How would I install in a FreeBSD jail? I have Sia running in the jail.
