directory ~/.screen from gnu screen.

reference found to $HOME/.screen using man -K \.screen in screen(1):

...
$HOME/.screen                     Socket directories (default)
...

#2 has found it, but an entry was not present in c80f3f8 which closed #2.

No related upstream issues found.

According to man screen setting SCREENRC env var is a suitable workaround.
