Error When Running BNetInstaller

Hello @barncastle ,

Pls see below error when I tried running the program:

It seems to be some new .NET mechanism introduced in v8.0 that is preventing this from running correctly. Just wondering if you know how to bypass this or is there a solution for it?

The other day I found a different version of bnetinstaller and it worked. For some reason I can't seem to find it again right now though

PR by xCortlandx worked for me. Steps taken to install SC2:

1. Create new directory (D:\Battle.net\SC2 for me)

2. In Battle.net client go to Games -> StarCraft II page

3. Press Locate the game under Install button and select D:\Battle.net\SC2

4. Check .product.db file has been created in D:\Battle.net\SC2 (show hidden files should be on)

5. Install .NET 8.0 by link from original README.md

6. Download as ZIP xCortlandx / Battle.Net-Installer fork source code (⚠️ author is not me, review changes before use)

7. Unpack dowloaded ZIP to same disk as SC2 directory (D:\Battle.Net-Installer-master for me)

8. Open windows cmd.exe (press WIN + R, type cmd and hit OK button)

9. Change directory to D:\Battle.Net-Installer-master

10. Run dotnet publish -c Release -r win-x64 --self-contained true /p:PublishSingleFile=true to compile binary

11. Run BNetInstaller\bin\Release\net8.0\win-x64\publish\BNetInstaller.exe --prod s2 --uid s2_enUS --lang enUS --dir "\Battle.net\SC2"

12. Result should look like

     Target drive free space: ### GiB
     Authenticating
     Queuing Install
     Starting Install
    
     Downloading:        s2
     Language:           enus
     Directory:          D:\Battle.net\SC2
     Progress:           99.9253 %
     Playable:           False
