Adding Italian syllabification

I would like to know if it is possible to add Italian syllabification in the Psalm tone software.

Hmm, possibly. Do you mean just syllabification in the transcriber? I just added the hypher patterns, but in my brief testing, they do not work on words such as "io" and "paure" but whenever this happens, you could just write i=o and pa=u=re, marking the syllable breaks with =.

In addition to syllabification, for the Italian language it would also be necessary to integrate a dictionary to know the tonic accent of each word (for the rule of epenthesis). For example, in "popoli" (people) the accent is on the first "po", and in umile (humble) the accent is on the u.

OK, sure. That would be a bit more work. I know such dictionaries exist, and using one it would probably also be possible to get the correct syllabification for those trouble words I mentioned. However, it's not something I have time to do right now.
